The starting point of this cycle tour along the Adriatic is the lagoon city of Venice. You pass the classic beach resorts of Jesolo and Caorle, where there is always the opportunity for a refreshing swim. So don't forget your swimsuit on this cycle tour. But there is also plenty to discover away from these beaches: the interior of Friuli Venezia Giulia has countless corners with a very special charm. Medieval fortified towns, Roman excavations, typical Italian piazzas and Venetian-influenced buildings make visitors forget time and space. While the Adriatic Sea stretches quietly and calmly on one side, the Julian Alps rise majestically on the other. The tour ends in Croatia on the Istrian peninsula. The return journey to Venice is possible by boat.
